Gearing up to shoot........

15 days i start shooting the next bit of my feature Mortus Illumina,

Over 30 crew and Cast involved
4 Day shoot
Fantastic fun logistics of moving 30 peopel from london to Kings lynn and feeding them and putting them somewhere in teh dry at night
strange north of the river accents to look forward too
cheap beer !
Hopefully a cherry picker
got some blue screen doobrie to do as well
some fatastci make up involved including a guy who has poured petrol all over himself, a guy who has shot himself through the head, a Nun who has had her head smashed on an Altar, and a big finale effect which is shhhhh.
a blagged Dodge Dubago :-)
and for the charity bit , locals should be covering us for
supplying an air sea rescue unit with radio ear pieces in return for them lending us the radios when we shoot,
Dontating Money to the RSCB for using there location
Promoting the fact that the foot and mouth scare has left that neck of the woods by coming up from london

its my fifth 5YLAC shoot as well , and its going to "rock "

no not by a long shot, next shoot will be about an extra 20 minutes of the final film , so far have shot about 15 minutes so that leaves 65 mintues still to go !

got a four day shoot at a chapel coming up before the end of the year , plus 10 days at sherperton next year to come as well then there is still ad-hoc location stuff to be doen after that !

Sorry to bug you again man...but having no expeirience with such a long term project...i gotta ask...do worry about continuity a lot? geez man what a headache!

Thats Sam my continuity guy who details everything in each shot from clothing, to position of props, lighting, camera settings, actors positions, dialouge, framings, weather, etc etc

In mine the main character has the wrong clothes on for a single shot- but it's nothing to shout about-

PS- we have actually come up with an explanation that solves the problem, as it was one characters point of view- therefore representing the way he views her- as a school girl!

I had continuity probs on the train. the 2 shot of the charachters talking has different train noise to the single shots...ahh well

yeah, the one im shooting now i a bout a teddy bear store heist(beanie babies are worth lt you know)and deals with fads(yes its a comedy and quite entertaining) , well in the firstshot there is a teddy bear wit a green dress, i had to shoot th second scene while on vacaton in Cali well mybrother let the bear at home so I have a bear with a pink dress in thenext cene, the later the green one, no one ha really noticed or cared yet.
P.S can get a copy when your done filming, a nurse with a flattened head on an alter? pure genius
